Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of native silver from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a rich, dense network of
native silver crystals in association with a small amount of white calcite and darkly colored sphalerite!!!
The native silver crystals exhibit a variety of highly complex habits!!! The crystals range from dendritic clusters to
fine, elongated spinel twins and hightly complex plate-like crystals!!! The main section of crystals is dominated by
these unusual, platy crystals!!! Upon close inspection, some of the crystals show sharp hexagonal form with beveled edges!!! The crystals
have lively metallic brilliance and an attractive "antiqued" patina!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
