NOTE: I am listing this specimen from Tucson and I am currently without my regular photography set-up, please know that this specimen is WAY better
than these pictures show!!! I just launched a few "preview" auctions before our next week's special Tucson 2012 Auction listings!!! Also be sure to
check our site for more Tucson 2012 excitement!!!
A fantastic example of native silver from this historic locality in Sweden!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of bright native silver both
on matrix and richly included throughout as well!!! This specimen hosts rigid sheets and masses
of brilliant, tin white native silver richly included throughout and exposed on surfaces as well!!! Some areas of
the native silver have a slightly iridescent patina and others show areas of "antiqued" patina as well!!! Upon close inspection on can see
areas of dark gray acanthite as well!!! The matrix consists of a complex combination of quartz, amphibole species, some sphalerite,
and other species!!! In person one can see that there is much more native silver present than the pics show - there are masses and sheets poking out all
over the place (more silver could easily be exposed with minimal effort)!!! Simply a fantastic example of the species for the locality!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
