Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of native silver from this rare Colorado locality!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of quartz and sphalerite that hosts numerous masses of compact native silver wires and spongiform native silver in association with acanthite!!! Upon close inspecition, one can actually see some small, crude crystals of acanthite!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the A.E.
