A unique, old time example of native silver from this historic Canadian locale!!! This specimen exhibits a most striking arrangement of
thick, chunky "crystals" of native silver that range in size to over 2.2cm!!! These "crystals" have striated features and bright
silvery metallic luster with an attractive golden "antique" patina!!! These "crystals" appear to be part of a brecciated vein of
silver or perhaps the result of some other complex process!!! There is a thick vein of acanthite associated with the
silver as well (much easier to discern in person)!!! This specimen is very showy in person - and very unique as well!!!
This specimen retains an old dealer label that notes it was collected in 1915!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
