Description/Interesting Notes: A rare locality example of native silver from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of native silver distributed across the broad face of the specimen!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that the silver is actually present as small, tightly curled wire masses!!! There is some galena in association as well!!! This specimen retains an old, handwritten script German label as well as its original Ellis collection label (which also shows a picture of the specimen on the reverse)!!!
