A magnificent, old time example of native silver from this classic Canadian locale!!! This specimen consists
of a VERY rich vein of native silver with associated arsenides and pinkish colored calcite!!! This
specimen hosts a VERY rich showing of native silver - present as thick masses and veins surrounded by silvery metallic
arsenides!!! There is silver jutting out all over this specimen!!!
This is a killer, old time specimen from a great locale!!! This specimen is from the
collection of John J. Durkos and retains his original detailed labels as well as its original painted wood base!!!
This specimen weighs
1.46Kg or well over 52 ounces!!! According to Durkos' notes on the label, the specimen is estimated to contain 50% silver by weight!!!
This specimen is loaded with silver and the combination of metallic arsenides and pinkish calcite is quite handsome in person!!!
This specimen
is worth a very significant sum just based on its rich silver content!!! Classic material!!! Don't miss out on this
valuable beauty!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
