Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of native silver from Kongsberg!!! This specimen consists of a gracefully tangled wire of native silver!!! The wire is thick and sturdy with handsome striations, metallic luster, and "antique" silver patina!!! Upon close inspection one can see a small, unidentified crystal perched in a deep striation as well!!! This specimen is quite handsome and three-dimensional in person!!! Upon close examination one can see that the end of the wire tapers to a tiny curl!!! This specimen is from the lifelong personal collection of Frank & Wendy Melanson and retains their label with Beth Gordon Collection notation!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
