Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native silver from this seldom referenced Canadian locale!!! This specimen hosts several curled wires of native silver in association with a sugar-like coating of tiny quartz points on matrix comprised of rock and galena!!! The wires are significant and showy with a lively metallic luster and antique patina!!! These old time Yukon silver specimens are quite scarce indeed!!! This old time specimen is from the collection of A.W. Pinner (one time head chemist at Franklin, NJ) and the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
