Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, rare locality example of native silver from Zambia!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of solid native silver in association with
just a few tiny quartz crystals!!! This is not simply a "mass" of native silver - no - this specimen is actually completely crystallin!!! While it is
difficult to appreciate in the pics, the specimen actually has broad flashes of metallic luster made up of a multitude of submillimeter crystal faces!!! When
viewed at different angles, complex geometric forms exhibit a velveteen flash of metallic luster!!! This effect is present around the entire specimen!!! What's more is
that these areas of oriented luster bare no relation to the underlying shape of the overall specimen!!! This specimen is in terrific condition and is
complete all around!!! This is one of only a handful of examples of native silver I have seen from Zambia!!! These specimens are very scarce indeed!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 23rd!!!
