Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique example of native silver from this classic Mexican locale!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of
highly complex, hoppered crystals of pyrargyrite that have been COMPLETELY replaced by native silver!!! This
specimen is completely comprised of native silver!!! This is a VERY unusual pseudomorph indeed and this is
the only one I have ever seen!!! The crystalline forms are much more pronounced and distinguishable in person!!!
What is really interesting is that, upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope, much of the native
silver is tightly compressed "wire silver"!!! Very unusual material from an old collection!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
