Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native silver from Peru!!! This specimen hosts a thick, sturdy wire of native silver prominently perched on matrix with a mass of matrix held aloft on the end of the wire!!! The wire has bright metallic luster with an attractive, varied patina!!! Numerous small areas of native silver can be seen in the matrix, as well as a significant amount of massive sphalerite and possibly some earthy acanthite!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays quite handsomely in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
