4.8cm x 3cm x 2.8cm
Ex. John Durkos Collection
Ex. Robert E. Jenkins II Collection No. 10009
Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of native silver from this famous historic locale!!! This specimen hosts a dense tangle of wire silver
in a matrix of both massive and crystalline calcite!!! The silver ranges from thin, meandering, hair like wires with a tin-white patina to thick and
sturdy ropes with a gorgeous "antiqued" patina!!! The old Durkos Collection label indicates that it was collected in 1908!!! Simply an outstanding example of wire silver from Canada!!!
