Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of native silver from Batopilas!!! This specimen consists of a complex cluster of spinel-twin crystals of native silver in association with scattered masses of darkly colored acanthite!!! The crystals are unusually chunky and exhibit many somewhat atypical features!!! The crystals have a handsome "antique" patina with silvery metallic luster!!! The scattered masses of darkly colored acanthite provide an attractive accent as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
