Description/Interesting Notes: A rich example of native silver from the Hope Bay Mine!!! This specimen consists hosts a very rich network of native silver throughout, with numerous areas of exposed silver visible all over every surface!!! This hefty specimen weighs 224 grams - it is surprisingly heavy for its size!!! The bottom has been cut in order to show off the rich network of silver crystals within!!! If the matrix were etched away it would likely expose numerous herringbone-like crystals!!! This specimen is from the Canadian suite of the Jenkins collection and retains its original Jenkins collection label!!!
