Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent, old time example of native silver from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of well formed crystals of native
silver!!! The crystals exhibit both somewhat blocky crystals that have brilliantly metallic, tin-white luster followed by additional growths of
more darkly colored dendritic crystals - possibly accented by microcrystals of acanthite!!! Curiously, upon close inspection, there appear to be tiny
sub-millimeter garnet crystals tucked in random crevices!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this classic beauty justice!!! This specimen
retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum as well!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
