Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique and showy example of native silver from Australia!!! This specimen exhibits a highly complex form composed of
two elongated sections that intersect at a sharp ninety degree angle!!! Although it is difficult to appreciate from the
photos, this specimen has an attractive and brilliant velveteen luster!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope, the
broad sections of the crystal can be seen to be covered with minute, oriented crystal faces!!! These
handsome crystals show highly complex crystalline features throughout and exhibit
x-shaped cross sections when viewed down the c-axis!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! This specimen is
difficult to fully appreciate from the pics - in person it is a very intruiging and unusual crystal indeed!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 16th!!!
