Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of native silver after dyscrasite from this historic locality!!! This specimen is quite heavy and dense - and
it is comprised almost entirely of native silver!!! This specimen consists of a dense network of intergrown dyscrasite crystals that have
all been completely replaced by native silver!!! There is a very minor amount of calcite matrix and a few traces of native arsenic present in
association!!! This specimen weighs a hefty 220 grams - so it is quite valuable even just for its silver content alone!!! In person, one
can easily discern the complex crystal forms of the original dyscrasite crystals!!! The specimen has a handsome patina and displays
fantastically all around!!! The pics hardly do it
justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8th!!!
