A terrific example of native silver and acanthite from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of massive, pale purple amethyst that hosts a
rich showing of acanthite and native silver!!! The silver and acanthite are much more readily discernable in person - and especially impressive with
magnification!!! There are some sulphides in association as well!!! Aside from the associated sulphides however,
there is one very interesting microcrystal tucked in one of the vugs - what appears to possibly be a small xanthoconite crystal!!! There are at least 2 others to be found as well!!! The
pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is
from the Colorado suite of the Jenkins collection and retains his original personal collection label!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
