Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous native silver "rope" from Morocco!!! This specimen consists of an unusually thick wire - actually a rope - of native silver!!! For the locality, this specimen is extraordinary!!! Thick "ropes" of native silver are more typical of famed localities like Kongsberg - wires of native silver from Morocco rarely exceed a few millimeters in thickness!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around!!! Upon close examination one can see that all of the features on the wires are completely natural - there is also a small amount of darkly colored acanthite in association as well!!! This specimen has brilliant metallic luster and a gorgeous slightly golden patina!!! The curved striations make for a showy and dynamic specimen indeed!!! This killer weighs a hefty 15.5g of nearly solid silver!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
