A terrific example of native silver from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a broad, polished plate of darkly colored matrix that hosts
a rich network of native silver!!! In addition to the silver, a significant portion of the metallic material appears to be an associated silver sulfide of
some kind!!! The native silver clearly has a whiter metallic color as compared to the associated mineral's decidedly grayer hue!!! A fascinating specimen indeed!!!
Classic old time material!!! This specimen is from the Colorado Suite of the Jenkins collection and retains his original personal collection label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen
weighs 307 grams (over 10oz.)!!!
