Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of native silver from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a striking, dramatically elongated "herringbone" cluster of spinel-twin native silver crystals!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of native silver, accented by scattered areas of darkly colored acanthite!!! The native silver crystals exhibit showy, sharply defined spinel-twins arranged in a classic "herringbone" pattern!!! Some of the individual spinel-twin crystals are incredibly long - stretching to nearly 4cm!!! The individual crystals of native silver are thick and chunky with sharply defined features!!! The crystals have brilliant metallic silver luster with accents of handsome "antiqued" patina!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition all around and displays gorgeously in person!!!
