Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native silver from this classic Mexican locale!!! This specimen hosts a rich, striking display of unusually thick, highly complex native silver crystals on matrix in association with a small amount of sphalerite!!! I must stress that this specimen is WAY better than the pics show - the crystals exhibit unique forms with mirror-brilliant luster and finely striated, complex features!!! The crystals have bright tin-white silver color with a gorgeous, slightly golden "antique" patina!!! There are some tiny crystals of greenish sphalerite present as well!!! This specimen is very showy and dynamic in person!!! All of the native silver present is finely crystallized and brilliant!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains an original collection label as well!!!
