A very rare and unique old time example of native silver and azurite from Russia!!! This specimen hosts numerous tiny crystals of bright blue azurite in addition to
a significant group of complex native silver crystals on a tan colored matrix!!! The azurite crystals consist of flattened, lustrous crystals up to 1mm and
have a particularly lively blue color!!! The native silver consists of a dense tangle of crude, complex crystals that measures just over 1cm!!!
The silver crystals appear to have a somewhat unusual box-work formation upon close examination!!! The matrix has a slightly greenish hue in areas and
resembles dessicated chrysocolla!!! An old and rare example of native silver in association with azurite!!! This specimen retains its original label from
the Smithsonian Museum (U.S. National Museum), as well as an old Cilen collection label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
