Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of native silver from this classic Colorado locale!!! This specimen consists of a dense specimen almost entirely comprised of native silver!!! The specimen is actually a thick, sheet of what appear to be highly compressed wires of native silver!!! Upon close examination this specimen is quite striking, as the curvaceous striations from the wires are more pronounced and prevelant than the pics show!!! This specimen came from the collection of Frank J. Tobey and retains his detailed label as well (Tobey was a maticulous record keeper and specimens have detailed acquisition info as well as previous dealer labels, etc.)!!!
