A rare example of native silver from Prospect Park!!! This specimen consists of a calcite vein that hosts a mass of native wire silver
to 2.5mm!!! The vein also appears to host a rich showing of sulphides as well!!! The pictures simply do not do this specimen justice!!! Upon close inspection
one can see that the silver is a dense mass of wire silver that is quite brilliant!!! The vein appears to host a significant amount of sulphides as well - with
several rainbow-iridescent metallic plumes on the reverse!!! There is a lot more going on with this specimen than the pics show!!! This specimen
was collected by Bob Drift in 1987!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
