Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of native silver from Butte!!! While there was a significant amount of silver recovered at Butte, examples of native silver are quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen hosts dense masses of wire silver prominently perched on its broad face!!! The native silver wires have silvery color with an antique patina!!! Specimen retains a previous dealer label noting that it came from a collection assembled in the 1930's!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
