Native Silver with Sphalerite Grand Island, Caribou District, Boulder Co., Colorado 2.56cm x 2.12cm x .84cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of native silver from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of native silver in association with sphalerite and calcite!!! The native silver is densely distributed throughout the specimen!!! The sphalerite ranges in color from quite dark to greenish!!! This specimen was part of what originally was a larger specimen from the A.E. Seaman Museum and likely dates to the late 19th century!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
