Description/Interesting Notes: An old time collection of native silver crystals from this historic Mexican locality!!! This is a group of 15 individual native silver specimens ranging in size up to 1cm!!! Examples of native silver from Pachuca are quite rare and these specimens exhibit a very unique and intruiging morphology!!! The most striking characteristic about these specimens is that they have cubic features all over the place!!! There are cubic forms, tendencies, or modifications on all of the specimens!!! These specimens are all very well crystallized and have a handsome "antiqued" patina combined with brilliant metallic flashes!!! Most of the darkly colored areas of the crystals actually still show a brilliant luster when light is reflected on them!!! This collection of specimens came in an antique, glass lined riker mount with black felt background and it will be included with the specimens!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
