Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare example of native silver from New Jersey!!! This specimen hosts a stout, broad section of wire silver sandwiched between portions of
matrix in association with numerous small but sharp and lustrous calcite crystals!!! The native silver is eye visible and it appears a bit
more could be exposed if so desired!!! In addition, there are numerous sulfide masses present and some has the appearance of acanthite as well!!!
This specimen was originally collected by Bob Drift years ago!!! Rare material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
