Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding example of native silver from Norway!!! This specimen hosts a rich and showy grouping of dendritic native silver crystals prominently perched on matrix!!! The main group of dendritic crystals measures an impressive 4cm and rises up off the matrix in a most aesthetic fashion!!! The native silver has intense, brilliantly metallic luster and one can see highly complex crystalline features throughout!!! The crystals have an attractive patina that ranges from a bright tin-white to an almost golden "antique" silver!!! In addition to the main group of dendritic crystals there are numerous other areas of native silver scattered about the matrix!!! This is a killer example of native silver from this lesser known Norwegian locality!!! Very showy and aesthetic in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
