Description/Interesting Notes:
An old, rare locality example of native silver from Russia!!! This specimen hosts several bright, tin white metallic masses of
crystalline native silver in association with association with chalcopyrite, galena, and altaite!!! The broad face of
this specimen hosts broad patches of brassy golden chalcopyrite in close association with the native silver and there are
several small areas of matte luster galena and a few tiny areas of altaite!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can
see that the native silver has minute crystalline features which give it a discernable, bright sparkle in person!!! One
can also see complexly crystalline features on the other related species as well!!! This specimen
retains two old labels from the University of Helsinki as well as an old label from Dr. Mark Feinglos as well!!! Rare old material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
