Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time example of native silver from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a thick, rigid sheet of native silver in association with a
brilliantly iridescent matrix of stromeyerite and bornite!!! The native silver has bright, tin-white metallic color that stands in contrast to the
steely iridescent blues and purples of the stromeyerite and bornite matrix!!! The silver is thick, rigid, and substantial!!!
The native silver is prominently exposed and runs the entire length of the specimen!!! This specimen is quite showy in person!!!
Simply and outstanding example of native silver from Arizona!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains a label with
Charles Wills Collection notation as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 7th!!!
