Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare locality example of native silver from Mapimi!!! This specimen consists of a vein of chrysocolla that hosts a thin ribbon of native silver
running through it!!! On the broad face of this specimen you can see several areas of exposed, tin-white native silver and you can also see it on the edge of the specimen and
on a small area on the reverse as well!!! Examples of native silver from this locality are quite scarce!!! This specimen came out of an older collection that had been acquired from the 1950's to 1970's!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
