A fantastic example of crystalline allargentum with native silver and dyscrasite from this classic German locality!!!
This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, well formed crystals of allargentum with some intergrown native silver and
and grains of somewhat massive dyscrasite as well as some microcrystalline material!!!
The allargentum exhibits some highly complex stout crystals that have bright, tin white metallic brilliance!!! These are
extraordinarily well formed crystals for the species!!! The bottom of the
specimen hosts a significant showing of dark gray grains of dyscrasite and the inner
portions of the allargentum & silver crystals host an unidentified microcrystalline material (dyscrasite?) as well!!! Incredible, old time
material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
