Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native silver from this seldom referenced Colorado locality!!! This specimen hosts a framework of native silver crystals in intimate association with galena on a calcite matrix!!! Upon close inspection, one can see some associated acanthite and some unidentified microcrystalline species!!! The tin-white native silver contrasts smartly against the much darker galena!!! This specimen retains an old label from Forrest Cureton as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
