Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely incredible example of native silver with uraninite from Canada!!! This specimen consists of an extraordinarily rich and dense
example of native silver in association with massive black uraninite!!! The specimen has been cut and polished on two sides with the other
sides being natural!!! All of the metallic material is native silver - this specimen is FULL of native silver (there is no skutterudite, safflorite, etc.!)!!!
The outside of the specimen shows some quartz and massive uraninite, however upon close inspection you can see that the there is a very dense showing of
exposed masses of native silver as well!!! This incredibly rich specimen weighs 796 grams and is quite valuable for its silver content alone!!! This
specimen is very showy in person - with bold tin-white metallic silver paired with dark veins of uraninite!!! This specimen retains an old
label from the Cilen collection as well as two old unattributed labels!!! An extraordinary specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
