Native Silver Beaver Mine, Coleman Township, Cobalt area, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada 2.2cm x 1.72cm x .93cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of wire silver from Canada!!! This classic old timer consists of a small amount of matrix that hosts a showy, dense tuft of thick, rigid wires of native silver!!! The silver has a gorgeous patina that ranges from near tin-white at the base of the wires to a classy "antiqued" patina toward the top!!! Upon close inspection, one can see some pink microcrystalline erythrite on the matrix!!! Also, with magnification there were also a few tiny crystals of an unknown metallic species (likely a Co species) in association as well!!! This specimen retains an old unattributed label as well!!!
