Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this very rare bismuth telluroselenide from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of silvery metallic skippenite in association with scattered masses of yellowish tellurite in quartz matrix!!! There are numerous significant, eye visible crystals of skippenite present!!! A very fine example of this rare species!!! This specimen came out of an old cache of AMNH stock and retains an old Excalibur Mineral label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
