Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of cobaltoan smithsonite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a galena & tennantite matrix that is completely covered with rich pink crystals of cobaltoan smithsonite!!! The smithsonite crystals have complex, curvaceous habits with sharply defined features, glassy luster, and marked translucence!!! The specimen is in magnificent condition all around and displays gorgeously in person!!! Upon close examination, it appears that you can see the forms of the underlying tennantite and galena crystals!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
