Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of cadmian smithsonite from Ireland!!! This specimen consists of an intense, bright yellow botyroidal cluster of smithsonite crystals on a matrix of purple fluorite intergrown with an earlier generation of smithsonite!!! This smithsonite has an intense cadmian-yellow color that is simply incredible in person!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition with translucent botryoids and a velveteen sheen!!!
