Description/Interesting Notes: A unique old time example of smithsonite from Greece!!! This specimen consists of a light blue-green knob of botryoidal smithsonite that has a curious and aesthetic association with psilomelane on its surface!!! The psilomelane is present as radiating dendritic groups and makes for a striking and curious appearance indeed!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains its original label!!!
