Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of smithsonite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a botryoidal cluster of multi-color blue and pink smithsonite crystals!!! The color is much more significant and sharply defined than the pics show!!! This specimen hosts a band of handsome sky blue smithsonite sandwiched between layers of translucent pink smithsonite with the surface showing a brighter pink, opaque layer of smithsonite with velveteen luster!!! This specimen is quite handsome and showy in person - the color is much better than the pictures show!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
