Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of cadmian smithsonite from Ireland!!! This specimen consists of an intense, bright yellow cluster of botyroidal smithsonite crystals!!! This smithsonite has incredibly intense cadmian-yellow color that is just about the brightest I have seen (It almost looks radioactive in person)!!! The smithsonite has marked translucence and, in person, one can easily see defined crystal faces throughout the specimen!!! This is OLD material, likely dating back a century or more!!!
