Smithsonite on Dolomite Tsumeb, Namibia 4.5cm 3.15cm x 2.6cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of smithsonite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a striking group of pristine, razor-sharp, glassy crystals to over 2cm!!! The crystals are prominent and aesthetically perched on a matrix comprised of sparkly balls of dolomite!!! The smithsonite crystals are truly incredible in person - rarely do you see such fine colorless smithsonite crystals from Tsumeb - or anywhere for that matter!!! This specimen is undamaged, pristine, and complete all around!!! To top things off, the crystals also show marked fluorescence under SW UV (as do layers of the matrix)!!! Simply a magnificent specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
