Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of smithsonite from a seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen consists of a small plate of matrix that is almost completely covered with translucent smithsonite crystals!!! Upon close inspection, the smithsonite crystals can be seen to be somewhat spikey crystals with sparkly luster and marked translucence!!! This specimen retains an old affixed catalogue number from the Seaman Museum!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Old material!!!
