Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of manganoan smithsonite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts a rich coverage of razor-sharp, lustrous rhombs of translucent manganoan smithsonite crystals on both sides of the matrix!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition on both sides and they have a handsome light pink color!!! While the great majority of pink colored smithsonite specimens from Tsumeb owe their pink color to the presence of cobalt - this is a much less common pink variety colored by manganese!!!
