Smoky Quartz Gwindel with Adularia, Chlorite, & Epidote Russein Valley, Vorderrhein Valley, Grischun, Switzerland 3.27cm x 2.75cm x 1.42cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic smoky quartz "gwindel" from Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, undamaged smoky quartz gwindel crystal in association with adularia, minor epidote, and partially dusted with green chlorite!!! The gwindel crystal has sharp faces with gemmy clarity, glassy luster and shows characteristic rotation along the c-axis!!! The crystal is complete, doubly terminated, and undamaged all around!!! The adularia is present as translucent whitish crystals and there are some small, dark green crystals of epidote perched among them!!! Way better than the pics show!!! Classic old time material!!!
