Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of smoky quartz with malachite!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of razor-sharp, highly lustrous smoky quartz crystals in association with lively green malachite!!! The quartz crystals are very sharp and have particularly brilliant luster!!! The crystals have unique, smoky phantoms that increase in intensity toward the terminations and dramatically outline the edges of the crystal faces!!! The effect is quite striking and much more significant in person!!! As a side note, there is also a uniquely twinned quartz crystal (visible down the c-axis) that can be seen in one of the pics!!! The malachite consists of velvety green botryoids that contrast quite handsomely with the smoky quartz crystals!!! This specimen is quite striking and showy in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
