This specimen hosts a dense grouping of gemmy selenite replacements of a fossillized turritella snail shells with numerous other selenite-shell replacements in association!!! The main selenite turritella snail replacement is complete and measures an impressive 2.8cm!!! These unique "crystal fossils" are very well formed with gemmy clarity, lively play of light within, and flashes of luster on the outer surface!!! This matrix specimen is loaded with these unusual selenite crystal replacements and is absolutely fascinating in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
