Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from New Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of intense blue crystals of spangolite on barite matrix in association with green brochantite!!! The spangolite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and gemmy!!! The spangolite has gorgeous, characteristic color in person!!! The brochantite is present as acicular green crystals in association with some other related species!!! This specimen is from the University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum and retains a label and affixed catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
